This Privacy Policy explains how Match Point AI (“we”, “us”) handles personal information when you visit getmatchpointai.com, join the waitlist, create an account, or use our tennis video analysis products (web and mobile). By using the service, you agree to this policy.
Who we are
Match Point AI provides tennis video analysis software that scores technique, explains feedback, and helps you improve. Our public site is getmatchpointai.com.
For privacy questions, contact us at privacy@getmatchpointai.com.
Information we collect
Account data: email, display name, password or auth-provider identifiers, onboarding choices (dominant hand, gender, backhand style, country), and subscription status.
Waitlist: email address, optional locale, and signup source when you join before launch.
Analysis content: videos you upload, pose timelines derived from those clips, technique scores, coaching reports, journal entries, and optional shared report links you create.
Usage and device: app events, approximate region for language or storefront pricing, and technical logs needed to run and secure the service.
Billing: payment status and subscription identifiers from Stripe (web) or Apple / Google via RevenueCat (mobile). We do not store full card numbers on our servers.
How we use information
Provide tennis video analysis: process clips, generate scores and coaching, store Court Log history, and power features you enable (including Pro Ideal Stroke matching and AI coach chat where available).
Operate accounts, quotas, waitlist invites, customer support, fraud prevention, and service security.
Improve the product with aggregated or de-identified usage signals — never by selling your identity or naming athletes as reference models.
Send transactional email (account, billing, waitlist launch notices). Marketing email only if you opt in where required by law.
Video processing and processors
User videos may be processed by our pose analysis systems and by Mux for upload, storage, and playback when cloud video is needed (for example public share links). Reference technique models are anonymous telemetry only — source reference videos are not uploaded from your device as marketing likenesses.
We use trusted processors such as Supabase (auth and database), Mux (user video), Stripe / RevenueCat (payments), and cloud hosts for the website and analysis workers. They process data under contracts and only for providing the service.
Sharing
We do not sell your personal information.
We share data with processors listed above, when required by law, to protect rights and safety, or with your direction (for example when you create a public share link with a redacted score and coaching snapshot).
Public share pages show only what you choose to publish — not private notes or full private telemetry dumps.
Retention
We keep account and analysis data while your account is active and as needed for quotas, billing records, security, and legal obligations.
You may delete analysis entries in the product where available. Closing an account or requesting deletion removes or anonymizes personal data unless we must retain a limited copy for law, dispute, or fraud prevention.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or export personal data, object to or restrict certain processing, and withdraw consent where processing is consent-based.
Email privacy@getmatchpointai.com to exercise rights. We may need to verify your request. You may also lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.
Security and children
We use industry-standard safeguards (encryption in transit, access controls, row-level security on user data). No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure.
Match Point AI is not directed at children under 13 (or the higher age required in your region). Do not create an account if you are under that age. Contact us if you believe a child provided data so we can delete it.
International transfers and changes
We may process data in countries other than yours. Where required, we use appropriate transfer safeguards with our processors.
We may update this policy. The “Last updated” date will change, and material updates may be announced in the product or by email. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised policy.
